The other day I saw a murkrow pop up on Pokemon Go and I was like ‘I’ve caught a bajillion Murkrow but there’s always the chance this one is shiny even if it probably isnt’ AND IT WAS.

I was playing Pokémon Go one day and ran into a local player. At some point durning our conversation I mentioned I had enough candy to evolve a Magikarp, but I was holding out for a shiny one. Immediately after I said that I found and caught one.
alright, i’m only gonna make one post about this on my main but i figured it was pretty important since discourse is already starting to circulate with the announcement of the Nitro+chiral games being localized.
Nitro+chiral is a branch of the company Nitroplus, dedicated to making DARK FICTION in the BL (Boy’s Love) Genre. The definition of DARK FICTION is that it focuses on events where dark events take place, featuring anything from slavery, imprisonment, and violence. Think things like Game Of Thrones, Hannibal, and Doki Doki Literature Club.
THAT BEING SAID, all of the games contain content that may not be acceptable for minors depending on the versions, and even the censored versions of the games adapted to cut out any sex scenes and add more plot are NOT MEANT FOR ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF SIXTEEN. The current versions of the games available (fan-translated over the years) feature large, bold warning screens upon loading to notify the player that the content is not suitable for all audiences, usually stating things like CAUTION or WARNING in all capitals.
So if you’re intending to play or check out these games, HEED THE WARNINGS. These games feature content that is intentionally dark, as per the genre, and failure to heed the warnings is NOT ON THE FAULT OF THE COMPANY OR GAMES. THESE WARNINGS ARE HERE FOR YOUR SAFETY.
Treat these games with the same courtesy that you would give any other dark fiction piece, and understand that there WILL BE POTENTIALLY TRIGGERING CONTENT IN IT. Discourse aside, your safety is what is most important here, and if you are personally uncomfortable with the works, feel free to blacklist any terms related to the series.
Stay safe while consuming content everyone, and don’t put the blame onto the content or the fans if you ignore your own wellbeing to continue proceeding through the games.
